The Purge movies in order is not a heaven story. These action thriller packed films have more of a Wrong Turn feel to them than your average fantasyland movie. In fact, there are many parallels including a dystopian, who celebrates an annual national holiday as The Purge. The Purge movies have taken a beating by critics but have continued to perform well at the box office despite the negative reception. In fact, despite the critical rating, there is a new movie slated for 2014 which will be the 2nd in this relatively successful series.

The Purge movie critics have been bashing this series since the original film came out in 2013. In fact, out of the four films that came out so far, the highest Rotten Tomato rating is 56%. This was earned by the last movie, The First Purge, released in 2018. Because of this box office success, there is another film called The Forever Purge which is currently in production and scheduled to be released in 2021.

Despite this series of negative reviews, I enjoyed it. Whatever who thing from other people, but it’s steel enjoyed movie. Maybe people are sic of the Purge craze which has popped up in the last few years, but I don’t think this movie is a typical dystopian movie at all.
