Ask a lot of people who the funnies movie is, and you’re bound to hear more than a few answers, “Home Alone”. In 1990, Home Alone arrived in cinemas. The movie comedy, which centered around the McCallister family and their holiday season, was a big hit with critics and audiences alike and become a box office smash.

Due to the popularity of Home Alone, the movie spawned a series of sequels and spin-offs with some of the new entries focusing on the same storyline followed by an 8-years-old boy of the McCallister family. But the right order to watch Home Alone movies?

What is the order of the Home Alone movies?

To Date, there are five Home Alone movies. The order of the movies is as follows:

In addition to the five movies, the series has also produced a 1-minute short called Google Assistant: Home Alone Again. The short was created as part of an advertising campaign and aired during Google Assistant.

As with many popular movies, this show has also been turned into a television series, short films, and video games. The first of the TV series aired in 2002 and served as a sequel to the original movies with a DVD release on TV film. The second of the TV series was a spin-off and aired the following year with a television Christmas comedy film.

In preparation for the 1992 movie by Disney, a Home Alone video game was made for Play Station and PC. However, little success was seen with this game and no more games were seen until this year. In 2006, Disney partnered with game maker Blast! Entertainment Creations to add an update into an existing game. which was to take the theme of their latest movie Home Alone 1.

The success of this series at the box office. Since Walt Disney took over in 1990, each movie continues to earn less than the last one. The latest in the series Home Alone 2 received just shy reviews from critics and a 33% Rotten Tomatoes. Because of this shy success, no more film released in theaters.

Whatever, Home Alone is one of those movies that can entertain people of all ages. little boy are a theme that everybody can enjoy and the box office proves it. With a movie planned for 2021, this cool franchise isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. The original film in 1990 paved the way for comedy in its day, and hopefully the 2021 release will do the same comedy thing.
